WHATS up with the name?

JEEPS:  we own a Jeep Wrangler.  It is a small sub-cultural of the larger Jeep community that that is easily identifiable.  Our Wrangler sparks a conversation wherever we go.  We have been given ducks from other Jeep owners and non-owners alike. 

JESUS: we are Born-Again Christians trying to be Christ-like... See below.

JETSAM: this is what most are wondering about.  What is JETSAM?  Jetsam describes debris that was deliberately thrown overboard by a crew of a ship in distress, most often to lighten the ship's load.  Jetsam may be claimed as property of whoever discovers it. If the jetsam is valuable, the discoverer may collect proceeds received though the sale of the salvaged objects.  See Acts 27:18-19

 

"Jeeps, Jesus, and Jetsam" is our desire to notice Jesus when He is out of the church building and in the streets.  We know there are many "out there" with questions and desire to get more out of life.  They wonder if they are the only ones who wonder about things.  There are many who would never darken the door of a traditional church.  Many who believe that they will never be able to get it right with God because of what they have seen or done.  Many who have Mamas who are praying that they would find Jesus and He would open their eyes. 

"Jeeps, Jesus and Jetsam" is THEIR hope.  We would love to introduce you, reintroduce you, encourage you, inspire you, Pray for you, assist you... in whatever way we might be able to -- as we try to be Jesus' hands and feet.
